Frustrated with bands but Inspired by legendary guitarists Tim always wanted to make amazing guitar instrumentals.
In 2001 he quit the two covers bands he was in and started researching equipment, soon enough he bought a bass, some drums and set about building a studio learning to write, record and play along the way.
Scott’s savvy approach to marketing paid off performing in Starbucks on a UK wide tour of Borders stores in 2004 which saw his debut shooting in to their top 200 sellers list.
This drew national press attention with all the UK Guitar magazines giving ‘Bald On The Inside’ glowing reviews.
In early 2005 Tim was head hunted through his growing media presence to collaborate with Radio 1 DJ Judge Jules on the infamous Techno/Flamenco cross ‘Puesta Del Sol’.
“Guitar Mashing was born that summer…” muses Tim as he remembers being flown out to Ibiza to mash-up crazy guitar over Judge Jules funky set during the 2005 Radio 1 weekend. “It caused such a storm that they invited me back to play the closing party!”
Tim revisited the white Isle in 2006 once again playing alongside Jules funky set at Judgement Sunday during the Radio 1 celebration of 10 years in Ibiza.
Released in 2008 ‘Guitar Mashing’ gave Tim the opportunity to work at the world famous Abbey Road Studios with legendary mastering engineer Geoff Pesche.
‘Guitar Mashing’ drew wide critical acclaim from the UK music press with ‘Ibiza’s Secret Garden’ being the most popular track since re-mixed by Judge Jules.
In 2009 Tim Started working on dance crossover singles the first of which Amy Jane made No 9 in Total Guitar’s top ten tracks to download in the Christmas edition.
