Blue Jean Finish Limited Edition 88' Custom Shop Jackson Dinky Strat

Model: Limited Edition 88' Blue Jean finish Dinky Strat, Jackson Custom Bolt-On (Neck plate says San Dimas)
Year: 1988

It's been re-fretted once and the tremolo has been replaced twice, it now has a Floyd Rose MKII fitted instead of a MKI. This guitar has the best sound of any guitar I've ever owned and I regularly use it for recording work and sessions.

This is the guitar sound on the verse of my single 'Amy Jane' awesome sound!

Jackson Custom Shop SL1 Soloist Pile O' Skulls Graphic

This was used in a commercial for Jackson guitars in the UK guitar press with chains wrapped around it and it still bears some of the scars. I changed the pick-ups from Seymour Duncan's to EMG's. There are now two SA's in the single coil slots and an 85 in the bridge.

It's a great guitar, if I could only take one guitar with me to a desert Island this would be the one.

During 2002 Tim was asked to lead a Jackson endorsement clinic by then AMIC UK demonstrator Geoff Beauchamp in conjunction with Dawson's music. Tim performed works by Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Eric Clapton for the event to a fantastic response.

As part payment he took delivery of this brand new custom shop SL2 snake skin finish Jackson sold to him for just the landed cost to the UK distributor. The pick-ups have since been changed from Seymour Duncan's to EMG's. There are 85's in the neck and bridge positions with a custom fitted phase switch.

Red Mahogany Parker Fly Classic

This is the one used for the photo on the inside cover of the 'Bald On The Inside' album. I used this to record the tracks 'Bald On The Inside' and the rhythm section on 'Ibiza's Secret Garden (Original Radio Edit)'.

Parker Fly Deluxe - Electric Blue

This has a fantastically light clear sound due to its Poplar body. I've used this on numerous recordings and sessions as it performs many classic sounds all from of one exceptionally straight forward package.

Parker Fly Supreme - AAA Grade Flame Maple

This guitar has that typically bright sound that only maple gives but with a beautifully smooth edge to its well-rounded tone. I often use this in conjunction with the Parker Classic to double up my Dance inspired rhythm parts. This guitar was used on 'Pink & Chrome (The Sex Toy Mix)' for the clean lead tones.

Taylor NS42ce Nylon String Spanish/Classical

This is the guitar I used for the chorus melody on 'Ibiza's Secret Garden (Original Radio Edit)' and the verse of 'Angel Dust (Naked Sunset Mix)' I also played it on my first session with Judge Jules for the melody of our track 'Puesta Del Sol' from the album 'Proven Worldwide'.

Martin 00028 Eric Clapton Signature Acoustic

I played the Intro to the track 'Money=Cocaine Emptiness' from my latest album Guitar Mashing on this stunning acoustic. I also used it for the main riff my latest single 'Amy Jane' as it has such a fat sound.

Warwick 5 String Thumb Bolt-On Bass

This Bass was used to record a large amount of tracks for my second album 'Guitar Mashing' and also the bass line for the single by The One Hit Wonders'- 'Grace Of God (Serial Diva Remix)' which reached No. 17 in the dance charts.

Warwick 4 String Streamer Series 1 Neck Through Bass

This Bass "has truly got the sex!" I used it for all of 'Bald On The Inside' and bits and pieces on 'Guitar Mashing' and also on the new single 'Amy Jane' it has a very poppy pow, pow sound which is unmistakeable and cuts through the mix beautifully.

Sparkly Pink Deluxe Fender Telecaster Customized by Martin Sims

This sparkly 'Pink & Chrome' Fender Telecaster guitar was customized to my exacting specification especially for my first live performance alongside Judge Jules funky set for Radio 1's Ibiza Weekend, August 2005 and 2006.

With pink LED's in the fingerboard and three lasers in the headstock all connected so they react to the sound of my playing. This radical customization was performed by the world-famous luthier Martin Sims who has customized guitars for the likes of Prince, Matt Bellamy (MUSE) and Steve Vai, to name but a few.

I've also used this guitar on sessions for Herd & Fitz and for the funky rhythm guitar on the mighty 'Angel Dust (Funky Bass Radio Edit) & (King of Guitar Mashing Club Mix)'

This is my new, one of a kind Jackson Custom Shop Soloist. It's taken 4 years to get built! But well worth the wait, looks amazing and sounds even better. Has an EMG '89 in the bridge, an SA in The middle and a '85 in the neck. Can't wait to play it out and get the full public reaction - goin' be awesome.
