On The Inside' is a magical eleven track CD of
the some of the worlds finest instrumental guitar
playing.
Tim's unbelievably unique approach, style and sound
in this field of music, coupled with his talent to
explore and incorporate styles as wide ranging as
Rock, Blues, Funk, Pop, Classical and Jazz, with an
underlying Spanish flavour knows no boundaries. The
result is bright, ethereal, airy melodies that are
full of emotion, not to mention the world beating
production.

The making of 'Bald On The Inside' was very much a
solo affair with Tim taking on the writing, playing,
recording and producing of the entire album in his
self built recording facility 'acer studios' much
along the lines of the mega success of Mike
Oldfield's – 'Tubular Bells' or Jean Michelle
Jarre's - 'Oxygen'.
If this wasn't enough he released the album in the
UK high street through Borders music and book shops
in late 2003 under his own label 'acer records'
which he soon followed with a UK wide tour of their
stores which generated enough sales to send it
shooting into their top 200 sellers list.
This allowed his publicity machine to gain national
press attention with fantastic reviews in the
magazines 'Guitarist', 'Guitar' and 'Guitar
Techniques' in early 2004, with all of them drawing
comparisons to established international artists
such as Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Steve Lukather and
Steve Vai. With much interest at the time from the
wider press this esteem is sure to spread to the
main stream.

'Mercury' features the unique talents of guitarist
Tim Scott. I met Tim in Ibiza last summer where I
saw him in action playing guitar alongside Judge
Jules in the DJ booth at Eden. We decided to get
together in my studio in London once we got back,
and the result is this chunky, driving and somewhat
Balearic track with snippets of Tim's guitar chopped
up and re-arranged to create the main melody.
